Any particular type of turtle? What size of aquarium do you have to accomodate the turtle? I may be able to help you if you can give me a few details about your turtle set up, or limitations you may have. :)

Hi Robyn,
Have you looked on www.petfinder.com (petfinder.com)? They have many, many dogs listed that are up for adoption that are in need of a good home.
Has your sister ever been owned by a dachshund? If not, she should research the breed. They are VERY stubborn (at the very least). They can be hard to house train, and they are very yappy. I learned all this the hard way when I adopted my first five years ago. Now I have five! Even though they can be a handful, I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world!
