I do not think that it is safe for charlie to eat pencils. The paint on them contain chemicals that could kill abird. The lead also could. Just some advice. I know that the windy city parrot makes "pencils" for parrots. They are sticks of wood dyed with vegetable dye I'm sure to make them look like people pencils. Sophie has a blast chewing hers up.
