yes this is my third question today!!!

our two dogs dakota and lady chase our two cats constantly! the two cats were mine and then me and my boyfriend got together and got a dog (dakota). dakota stayed with him and the cats continued to stay with me. well later we (the cats and i) moved in with my boyfriend (and dakota). she didnt chase the cats as bad when she was a puppy...and then we got lady last january. we'll the two of them are aweful together...the team up on the cats. the cats usually stay up on the counter tops in the kitchen or in the bedroom where the dogs dont go very often. i have a the guest bathroom blocked off with a baby gate for the cats...the is where their food, water, and litter box is.

i know this stresses the cats out...and i am worried that it could cause a problem like a shorter life for them...am i just worrying too much?

how can i get the dogs to stop chasing them...i tell them no but they are running around every sooo fast chasing that they arent ever paying any attention to me.

help please!

My dog chases our cats sometimes also. The cats will let her know when they have had enough. What is really funny is to see them run through the living room, the dog chasing the cat, and then come back through with the cat chasing the dog. It is a riot. If I thought that it bothered the cats I would not let it go on. I don't know what you can do except to keep them separated and keep trying to get the dogs to stop

You can have a squirt bottle filled with water at the ready and when they start to chase squirt them! They will soon associate it and hopefully stop chasing them.
