Only a few experienced dog people can really tell how a dog behaves, sense this is my second dog, her name is Honey, she is a year old, born on October, 18th 2006. She is a Germen Shepered Lab mix, The shepred is from her mom, lab from her father.

Here is a picture of her:

Here are a few things she does to us when we walk in the door, I want to know what she is trying to tell me.

1. Jumping Ecstaticly and howling and jumping on me.
2. Pushing herself on me and then laying down, I'm guessing giving me her scent.
3. Howling alot
4. Sniffing and exploring all the book bags I lay down.

That's what I think she does when she is happy to see you, I also want Honey to know I'm the one who's incharge not my brother, Brandon, I want to show her I'm the one that does evreything for her in her life and I need her to know who's boss instead of running to my brother whenever I get mad at her.

You see, my brother always feels he should be better, and by doing this he acts like Honey has been with her and bonded with her like I have, when he knows he hasn't, I love my dog, and I want her to know that I am the one who fills her bowls and tucks her in and keeps her nose warm.

Any advice?

And, why do dogs spin alot whenever their laying down?

Update: She's been recently wanting an urge to go outside alot. I normally bike with her, I get on my bike and ride with her up and down the street, she gets a kick outta that!

And, I take her for walks and she pulls pretty hard, and then, I get mad at her and like screech her name getting her scared. Witch is not what I want her walks to be like.

First of all, I'm guessing you mean October 18, 2005 instead of 2006? Anyway, your dog needs an obedience class, or rather I should say-you need an obedience class. Obedience classes teach us how to interact with our dogs & I think it will build the bond with your dog that you're looking for & should calm down her jumping, howling, & pulling at the leash.
