just out of curiosity..why do you want to breed your male? Has he proved himself in the show ring? What about Health testing, have you done any?..if you havent done any of this, please, please neuter your dog..we dont need anymore unwanted litters in the world.

Sorry "Danegirl" if this sounds rude but if he or she wants to breed their Boston, BACK OFF. It's none of your business what he or she wants to do with the Boston and you have no right to tell him to neuter his or her dog. So try butting out of things that aren't your business and try worrying about other things that are. If you don't understand what I am trying to say by this message, I am trying to say, Leave him alone! Go neuter your dog. and if you already have, then good for you. We don't care.

Easy there bostiegrrl. Everone is allowed to have their opinion on this site. A lot of us here don't believe in breeding because a lot of them eventually end up in shelters which leads to a bigger problem. If he wants to breed his dog that is up to him but please respect other people's opinions about the subject.

Thanks Rich for advising Bostiegrrl of our sites feelings. As Rich said, everyone is entitled to their opinions but they need to be stated in a polite manner. Please be sure and remember for future post. Thanks.

bostiegirl..I see you are new to the forum, so welcome!
that being said, is its not a matter of what yours or others opinions are..it is how you say them. There are a great number of cool people on here to chat with and personal opinions are always appreciated provided they are expressed in a respectful manner. We are obviously on here because we love animals and want to share our opinions, try not to be so harsh please

Wow!! I don't think I have EVER seen such a response. Danegirl, I agree with you totally. There is ALOT more to breeding a dog than just letting them go at it in the backyard (backyard breeders). Hopefully, everything that needs to be done to breed this dog has been done. Just make sure that the mate you find has all testing done also. Good luck in whatever you decide. Even though there are probably lots of cute little bulldogs in shelters all over the country.:)

 wow...excuse me for being concerned..Go take a look at your local animal sheltar and tell me that we, as animal lovers, shouldn't be more concerned about irresponsible breeding

yes, this is true for many people..although there are some out there you just have to look..and there is absolutly wrong with buying from a RESPONSIBLE breeder, just do your research an make sure they are reputable! :)

Diane is very much right in reminding everyone of how important polite posts are here at Petlovers.....and this includes everyone, not just the new people. Rule of thumb if you see a post that you know is totally out of your beliefs then THAT is when we practice what we preach.

If you can not say something in an order of polite and to the point, then pass up the post and read elsewhere. We are all aware it take TWO to argue...so
you get my point?

Thanks!:)
