I woke up this morning to my 2 yr old Chinese Crested jumping on my bed. A bit strange since he usually sleeps under the blanket throughout the night.
I notice he's walking funny. He is stumbling as if he forgot how to walk. He is moving really slowly and being "floppy." I pick him up and hold him standing up... usually when I sit down and he can be on your lap, he refuses to be held because he wants to jump on your face. Well, when I sat down with him on the bed, he didn't move. Then I laid down with him on the bed, still didn't move and he flopped his head over onto my chest.
He seemed to be breathing okay, maybe a little shallow. He did eat some and drank some water, but was stumbling the whole time. I looked around the floor and I didn't find anything he would have gotten into. He pretty much looked like he was drunk, but I know he hadn't gotten any alcohol.
He kept burping and his tummy was growling a little. Nothing else. No vomiting, nothing. Has anyone ever experienced this before. I'm clueless! He seemed back to "normal" when I left for work, but I'm worried for him.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, that would be great. Thank you! :(
