Hey there ive just got a pair of gold fish I dont know if they are boys or girls. Any help?

goldfish can be sexed, but it is often hard to do.
during the breeding season males will grow little bumps on their heads called tubericles where the females will not.
while most goldfish will not breed in a home aquaria due to the lack of size.
to breed goldfish(fancy, not common/comet/koi) a 100 gallon tank is a must. with a 100 gallon tank you can get about 6-10 fancy goldfish and a spwaning mop and they should breed about once a year. common/comet/koi will need over 1000 gallons.
