swim bladder dieases, nothing really to do, just let him settle it out by himself.

and never tap on the glass.

As BettaChris said - swim bladder. PLEASE, PLEASE don't tap on the glass like that! It's painful and extremely frightening for them. Also, touching them can really hurt them too... it removes the natural secretions from their skin. Your fish will do best if you let it sort things out for himself... he may not recover, but then again, he may. Do whatever you can to provide a quiet, undisturbed environment around the tank.

Thanks for your advise, I didn't know that I shouldn't tap the glass or touch the fish. So sorry, I never do it again. Btw, I took my fish to Petsmart and they said that it had bladder disease, and gave me the medicine for it. Hope that it'll feel bettet next week.

Glad you took care of your fish. Sorry if I sounded snappy or rude... wasn't trying to. I was feeling crabby to start with, it wasn't you I was actually grumpy at - actually, it was my neighbor who was making a huge racket to tear down her fence.

yea, sound traveles much better under water, and fish have very good hearing, they can hear you talking to them outside the tank even, so banging on the glass with actually phisicly hurt them

Alot of times this will settle out, but not always, and improper feeding is often the cause. DO NOT feed worms as they can constipate goldfish. Pellets (such as Sanyu or Hikari) are best as they expand in the disestive tract and prevent gas. Spirulina flake is also easy to digest. Compare a goldfish digestive tract to a horse, you would not want to feed a horse dog food but feeding worms is doing just that.
I do not know if you are feeding your goldfish properly are not, I just have seen alot of this over the years, and it traces back to feeding more than 50% of the time.
Here is a blog about goldfish feeding:
