Hi everyone. I just made a webpage for my boxer, Virginia, who has been diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy. I'm hoping to raise enough money to buy her a dog wheel chair, but I'm having trouble finding places to post this website. Does anyone have any ideas about how to get the website out there? Any websites I can go to? Advice? I've never asked for donations before, its a bit embarassing...but I have to at least try so she can have a better quality of life. Thanks for your time:)-Amanda

You really should have some kind of local fundraiser, not on the internet. I have no idea if this is real or not, but I doubt you get any donations. Sorry. If this is real I wouldn't think $400 is that hard to raise. Take 25 bucks a week out of your paycheck and you can get one in 4 months. :)

Thanks for the advice. I'm glad you posted that you weren't sure if this was real or not. Prepares me for the fact that that is what most people might think. I guess I never really considered that! As far as putting back money from a paycheck...I wish I could, but I had to quit my job a month ago to go to college. It's just been bad timing for everything:( I figured if girls can make donation sites to get fake breasts, I could at least try to get my doggie a way to walk. But yes, if this doesn't work out I will definitely try a fundraiser! So far I've been donated 22.00, so we'll see. Thanks again for the reply though:) Puts things into perspective!

I moved your thread to the classfieds forum where I think you might have better luck!
