i've fed them ants and goldifsh flakes and they wont eat... maybe they are eating when i turn my head because its day 3 and they are still alive? ( they are 1 inch long )

where did u get these fish? from the wild or store.
It isn't uncommon to have fishes that wont eat for a few days due to stress from the move.
the best food i can think of is frozen blood worms. They are mosquito larve which the mosquito fish will eat.
I wouldn't put an entire cube of it in, try melting it in a cup and place a few on your finger and see if the fish will eat it from your finger.
