I will be traveling with my Pug for the first time Aug.3rd. the flight is about
1hr and 40 min. on Alaska airlines. wanted to know if anyone has tips for me, or is it safe? what have been your experiance as a PUG owner? He weighs 24 pounds not sure if they will let him in the Cabin. I'm not sure I want to put him in cargo.

Have you checked with the airlines about flying with a pug? Many airlines have restrictions regarding pugs and other short-nose dogs flying during the summer months.

I just had an APBT shipped to me from CA via Alaskan airlines. They have air ontrolled cargo areas which is great, but it is best to bring him on board do to his breed IMO if he is not over the weight restriction.
He's have to fit under the seat in a carrier. I'd check the guidelines with the airline asap
