 I have had him since he was 8 weeks old... he will be 6 mons on aug 9th. he is either outside with my other dog during the day. we spend alot of time outside at the pool and the dogs stay out there with us. we usually put him on a long leash in the house so we can keep an eye on him better in the house. i stop giving him water around 5-6. he is let out around 11pm and put in the cage after he relieves himself. when i get up at 6am his cage is messed. i have the crate shorten so he can only turn around.
i am at my wits end. nothing is working! my house stinks!
we are moving in 4 weeks and was hoping to have him trained by the time we move and ive had him since may!!!!. any suggestions on moving?

Hi, I've been housebreaking my 2 pups who are now 4 mnths old for about the past five weeks, What I've been doing is making sure that I feed them at the same times everyday and they seem to be getting on a pretty good schedule. I think the key thing is making sure that you have the dog on a food schedule, that way they start to poop at around the same times everyday. As far as the water goes I give my pups water throughout the day and let them out within a half hour to go pee. I wish you luck, I know it can be alot of work:)

well i scrubbed the bottom of the cage til i can scrub no more and it still smells. i figure that the reason he is going is because of the scent.
for the past 3 nights i have let him in my room to sleep on the floor and he hasnt had one accident! so i will keep it this way until it proves otherwise not to work.
thanks :p

DON'T USE ANYTHING WITH AMMONIA IN IT. FOR SOME REASON (THAT i CAN'T THINK OF RIGHT NOW) IT WON'T KILL THE SMELL. TRY DILUTED CLOROX AND RINSE IT WELL. HOPE THIS HELPS!
