How bad do they smell? Is it as bad as cat urine or is it tolorable. I have a room mate with very sensitve smelling. He smells things in the condo that i cant even smell. your input is appreciated thank you very much.

I never smell mine... the only time I smell ANYTHING to do with him is when I clean out his bathroom corner (they go in one corner of their cage most of the time, making maintenance VERY easy)... and even then, I don't smell much at all.

Yeah, if their enclosures are properly kept clean, there should be NO odors at all. Especially if you are only going to be keeping one, maintanance will be very easy.

Heya kyukidojen, how are ya? Ya, I get into these busy spurts and dont post much, but im usually on at least lookin and checkin up on the place (PL's I mean, hehe). My babies are all doing so well! Thanks for asking. =) How about your little guy??

Glad to hear it Emroul! My little guy? What little guy? All I've got is a BIG guy... hehe! He's grown SO much!!! He's working on being friendly, but he isn't QUITE there yet... he tolerates being held, but only briefly. Which is fine - we didn't bring him home to make him do what he doesn't wanna do! He's got these great bright orange-red spots of pigment, that at first freaked me out - I thought he was sick or had a fungus! But nope, it's just him. :D
I know what you mean about not being on for periods of time - i do that a lot - i'll be on every day for a week, and then nadda for a week or two...
