my red devil has a big problem. poor water quality has lead to him getting sick. i have never seen this kind of sickness b4,
i took some pics, very very poor quality pics but it looks bad.
The fish is has a full white body, and in the pics u can see it is bumpy and infected, and discolored.

the illness pics are in the main page, on the bottom.
the illness is on his back dorsal fin, and by the tail. all bumpy and discolored.
i have no idea what it is or is it paricite or fungal. all i have right now in there is salt alittle melafix and some jungle buddies paracite clear.

i got answers from 3 people who know dieases and still no glory. all of use has never even seen this b4.
the odd part is he is swimming around like normal, and eatting.
i was told that it might very slim chance but it could be a parasite injection where the larvey are exiting out of the fishes body.
very nasty stuff and i was told that daily water changes salt, and my usually meds and good food will hopely get him through this fast.
it is just very scary when no body ever saw this diease b4 and no idea how to treat it or fatality rate.

The bumps appear to be a paracite just under the skin.
Problem is the the best chemical for this is Dylox, which is now hard to find with Aquatronics going out of business (their product Dyacide contained Dylox). If you can locate this, I would use this in combination with 2.303% methylene blue at double to triple strength in a dip for 1/2 hour every day up to two times per day. If you cannot find the Dylox, use the dip above along with Jungle buddies you already using.
Good luck

I thought about your fish some more (by the way, my rather blunt first response was due to the fact I know that you are VERY knowlegable about aquariums, and didnt need other questions asked); If you cannot find dylox, another alternative is Nitrofurazone and metronidazole, both at full strength.
And another is a product called Paragon (but it is also discontinued do to business failure).

ujnfort he died.
he was doing so well too. but i was told alittle late, but that it might have been a reaction to the high nitrates.
and that water changes should fix him...
