about 3 weeks ago i lost my pet rat from old age on saturday i lost my budjerigar bud who also died from old age who i have had for 8 years he will be missed greatly:(

I am sorry to hear about your losses and to have them so close together is a double blow. What a great tribute to your loving care that their passing was due to old age. I'm sure they are playing together over the Rainbow Bridge.
