We have 3 Shih Tzus, all under 5. The oldest, 5 on Nov. 30th has been having problems with sleeping lately. She wanders all over the house and wants to get in places where she can hide. She has become extremely afraid of thunder and very loud noises. I've gone to the vet and they gave her Ace Promozine 10 mg. This does not work very well. I keep our jazuzzi just under 80 degrees and she loves to go in. We both went in last night just after 11:00 and she just sat there. Granted it is extremely hot lately and I know she is not use to it. She has been eating all right and seems to be fine and sleeps most of the day. I take them for walks and all is normal except when it comes time to go to bed. She may sleep for a bit but then is up wandering. What can we do? Our vet doesn't seem to think this is a problem. Thank you for anyone who can help. ***Isn't there anyone out there that can help? This is still going on and we don't know what to do. Please some help here would be great. Thanks.
