**Click download file and open at the pop up to read** As soon as I can get a chart on here I'll move it.

1. Heat Therapy
Where: Regular Tank
Application: Raise the temperature by 2˚ F per hour. For Ichthyophtirius, keep water at 86˚ F for 10 days. For Oodinium keep it at 91-93˚ F for 24 to 36 hours.
Important: This treatment should only be used in a tank with absolutely clean water and a good supply of oxygen. Watch fish closely, if they start to show any side effects, such as, disturbed equilibruim, immediately discontinue treatment.

2. Formalin Bath
You can buy a 35-40% formalin solution at a drugstore.
Where: Separate Bucket
Application: Add 2-4 ml solution to 10 quarts of water. Place fish in bucket for a maximum of 30 minutes.
Important: If there are signs of disturbed equilibrium, immediately return the fish to the tank. Formalin is highly caustic and can cause sickness in humans. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Store where children cannot reach it.

3. Salt Bath
Where: Separate Bucket
Application: 1/3 to ½ oz of table salt per quart of water. Keep fish in the solution for 20 minutes, watching them the entire time.
Important: In the case of Ichthyophtirius, all the fish in the tank be treated and very important this initial treatment must be followed by two more, each after an interval of 48 to 71 hours.

4. Medications Containing Malachite Green Solution
Where: Regular Tank
Recommended Products: Malachite Green, and Rid-Ich for scaleless fishes.
Application: Follow directions on container.
Important: Remove activated carbon from filter. Aerate tank well. Replenish the medication after water changes.

5. Medications Containing Furazolidon
Where: Regular Tank
Recommended Products: Furam II, Furazone Light
Application: Follow directions on container.
Important: Remove activated carbon from filter.
Note: Fin rot and ascites are usually caused by poor environmental conditions.

6. Remedies for Hole-in-the-Head Disease and Intestinal Flagellates
Where: Regular Tank
Treatment: Treatment depends on the stage of the disease:
If there are only small holes in the head region, adding vitamins to the food may halt the progress of the disease. The disease is often caused by vitamin or mineral dificiency.
If it seems likely that there are intestinal flagellates (signs: white, stringy excreta), consult a specialist. In all cases feed a vitamin-rich diet.
