Maddie, rest in peace

Well, this is not my pet, but affected me the same. My husbands families dog, Maddie, passed away this weekend. :( She was a basset hound, just the sweetest old dog. She was getting up there in her years, not sure exactly how old, maybe 15. They took her to the vet late at night after noticing her having difficulty breathing. Her life ended in the arms of her human family. It was very sad to hear the news, but it's a big part of life we all must face. I loved her so much, may she rest in peace. I know she is up there playing with the best of them now.
