Chicks at my Daycare!!

For 3 weeks now we have had a variety of chicken eggs in an incubater. Well wednesday they started hatching!!

The chicks are adorable. Are the children at the daycare getting to watch the chicks grow?

Yes.they all love it...first thing they want to see in the morning and they HAVE to tell them goodbye before they go home at night.

They just eat chicken feed...


And a sad update after letting a couple of the older kids hold two chicks for a pic in the paper, we had a chick pass. It was one that my boss let a 2yr old hold, and she dropped it..not very high, and I dont know if thats why it died but it was #3. #1,2 and 4 are doing great and went home to the farm today.
