I am thinking that Im glad I dont live in Fl. I dont think I could handle finding anything like this..!!!LOL

Be careful when walking at night! Be aware of the culverts!!! In Florida

Just another day at work in the beautiful Florida Sun!!! A Florida Power & Light crew putting in lines for an addition to the Orlando International Airport found the following in a culvert they were using.....two pictures.

The gator is/was 18' 2" long.

The rattlesnake roundup totaled 87.

FP&L shared these pictures.

Now see... that's why I don't live in Florida.lol

I think it is sad how many gators they are killing because we are over-building... if they are over 4ft they kill them... gators have survived everything for billions of years... but are they going to survived us?

Thats what I have in my back yard:eek: My hub would say "Now thats some good eatin'" AAACCKK! I don't agree with the killing of them either. This past mating season there were a few people killed out of sheer ignorance. The press went crazy and it started a statewide panic. Many gators were killed for no reason other than unwarranted fear and stupidity. Last month My step Mom and I were golfing and saw a 15 footer near the water. We left him alone and he left us alone. That is the key-just leave them alone and don't go out running (sweating) alone in the everglades during mating season!

I used to live in Florida to Pepsi and your right...Alot of gator attacks this year because people don't know enough about them....You stay away from them they'll stay away from you...During mating season though there a different story...When you live in Florida you learn real quick how to live peacefully with the gators.

I saw something on TV very much like the one you are showing of the gator. If it is the same one then a team of experts came in and wrestled him down then transported him far away from people and other things that were being being in danger of his presense and released him. I had not seen the snake one....gives me the heeby jeebies......(sorry Emroul LOL)
