Thanks all for such kind words. lol..........I do love Photoshop!

Dlaura that is one of the nicest reactions I've had. I also think my birds are out of the ordinary. But honestly, there is nothing as photogenic as parrots. There beauty is inspiring. Once you get them to realise that the huge, black, clunky thing you keep shoving in their face, is not going to eat them...........the rest is easy!

My olderst bird is my Goffin. She is my first, and I did my first handfeeding with her also. Talk about terrified! I was sure I would do something wrong and damage her or worse. Well.........10 years later, here we are, whole and reasonably stable. Sweden is firmly entrenched in my heart. Soft, wild, and wonderful, I'd be lost without her.

Solomen is now 6. I love the Zons but admit to being alittle afraid of their famed sexual agression. I learned that Mealy Amazons are the gentle giant of the Amazons. So Solomen, being a Mealy, became the next member of my flock. He is also a wonderful fellow. Large, sweet, and very calm for an Amazon. He love to make sounds, and listen to music and sing along in his own birdy fashion. Did I mention he is LOUD?

My real talker is my youngest bird at 5 yrs. Chaos is my Greenwing Macaw. Gotten at the youngest age, 8 weeks, and handfed until 8 months, Chaos and I have a bond unlike any I've ever had before. Chaos does everything at full speed, he is the bulldozer of my flock. Rough, tuff, and definatly the ruler of my little flock. Play time is ruff and tumble, even snuggling can hurt a teeny bit when that huge beak loveingly smacks me in the face. He has a sweet temper though, and has never bitten, nor (cross my fingers) ever really challenged me. He is the one whom accompanies me on trips outdoors. He loves festivals, parks, and picnics. He will even tolerate his feather tether so long as he can come along.

I'd better stop because I can go on all day about my babies!

Thanks again for all the sweet comments.

(oops......almost forgot Kitty!)

Becky your pictures are indeed beautiful!! I have a goffins too but he is a feather picker but I love him anyway. I do so enjoy seeing pictures of a fully feathered one though. I love how you grouped them together...guess I need to learn how to do photoshop. Feel free to go on and on about your babies as we love hearing about them and tend to go on and on our selves. And MORE PICTURES PLEASE!!!

Great pictures! And beautiful babies. And I don't know that i've ever seen a kitty with fur quite like yours...
I'll be posting photos soon, as I am raising a "flock" of my own right now - actually, a duck flock... but anyway, I love what you've done with your bird photos. And the dog photos. You have helped me answer a question i've been wondering about with some cat photos forever - does it look good to get that way...

My kitty now has almost no hair! lol. Funny enough, her hair is only medium long, but it is also very fine. Since she hates being brushed, and I'm ashamed to say, her teeth often times win the battle, I have gotten her a easycare hairdo.

This is her new look...........

She loves her hairdo...........lol.......she struts!
