Just thought I'd start posting pics of my babies.

This is my rescued Diluted Calico Am. Shorthair, Millie when she was around 6 months old.
She's still a tiny little girl. I blame it on the people who threw her out the window of their car while doing 55mph. Luckily I was right behind them and managed to pull over and save her before she was crushed. One car did run over her tail and it had to be completely amputated though.
You can't see it in the pic but when she first came home she looked like she had a little shaved monkey butt. ::hehe:: She turned out to be a shy cat but I think it makes it all the more special when she DOES climb on your lap for a scratch.

This is Micah an E. Muelleri (aka West African Sand Boa). She's fairly rare in the US and I just happened to luck into getting her. The breeder I bought her from wasn't correct when he thought he was breeding Kenyan Sand Boas. I was nice enough to correct him once I figured out what she was though, he makes alot more money now.

This is my Savannah Monitor, Monty (or Tony if you ask my step-daughter).
He's about a year old here:

This is his current mug shot, pardon the funky colors, he's shedding big time.

My Rosy Haired Tarantula, Isabella.

This is Old Man. He's the oldest fish (and everyone's grandpa) out of the near thousands of Convicts that have gone through our 75 gal. over the years. If I'm doing the math correctly he's about 8 years old. We recently sold everything but him, our two Silver Pacu's and two Pictus Catfish. What a relief, it was nearly impossible to keep up with the massive amounts of babies these fish were producing. The five of them seem happier now that the tank isn't a war zone. Old Man even shares his treasured skull with the smaller Pictus now.

Almost done here...
This is my Pointer/Lab cross, Shelby:

This is our APBT, Riley. He's a total runt from terrible breeding but he's one of the best "rescued from death's door" dogs I've ever run into.

What a menagerie you have there! True to your word. LOL I love the feathered, furry ones the most. Millie reminds me of a cat my hubby & I had when we were first married. She could be Danielle's twin. How awful she was tossed out a car window -- but luckily you were where fate intended. I love seeing all the pictures and would love to see more when time permits. Thanks!
me to i am a bit of a picture addict your babys are lovely that reminds me i havent seen Angels lovely face in awhile:)

Thank you everyone! I love the way you all are so nice and respectful to each other around here. Truly I have never encountered a forum community so full of wonderful people.
You all have made my day. :p
....Maybe its that the qualities it takes to be a good animal parent are the same as those that make people a joy to be around. :D

Hi there! I don't know how I missed this thread but I must tell you now, I went through your pictures slowly and in awe. Lizzies colors just took my breath away and that wide wing span while bathing..just gorgeous! You are blessed with such an array of pets and they all look very well loved and taken care of!!!!! Show more whenever you feel like it because as you can tell from the responses you recieved...we loved looking at them!!!!!!

I am thinking for sure it's the animal connection - most of the people here love animals enough to spend time searching for a forum about them... and that makes them pretty great people *IMO* :D Anyway, welcome to the forum (I don't know - you've maybe been here a while, but i haven't welcomed you...)
By the way, I really, REALLY like your monitor. I've always wanted a large lizard (not sure what sort) but I know that with my current situation, it would not be a proper home... So I really enjoy when people let me look at their scaley-babies...

Great pics and quit the variety. Your story about Millie broke my heart, how can someone toss a cat from a moving car like that, ARRRR.

I'm glad you are all still enjoying my babies. I'm really missing them right now because I'm on vacay in Austin, TX. Its my first time in Texas and its a blast!
When I get back I'll hop on my old computer and pull up some of the older pics I've got. There's some really cute ones that I think would be enjoyable for everyone to see.
Till then, love your fur, feather and scale kids.
