Another quick question, when Bullwinkle is out of his cage for free time he sits and pecks the glass of my Hamsters cage. ( don't worry my hamsters are in glass aquariums) is this bad for his beak????

What kind of bird is Bullwinkle? I think the pecking on glass would be hard on his beak. I think I would try to distract him when this happens! Good luck!

Bullwinkle is a parakeet, and he's a pretty boy.

Sorry for the delay in answering you....it got lost in the shuffle! I doubt if it would do any harm but I still would not encourage it, he could chip his beak if he got to radical.....he must like the way it sounds!

Sounds like a sweet little bird.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bullwinkle can see his reflection in the hamsters glass cage. Some birds that have mirrors in their cages will tap, tap, tap all the day long! They fall in love with their mirror birdy buddies.
