Thanks everyone! I can't believe he's already 6 1/2yrs old, how time flies. The very first pic is the day I brought him home, he was only 5 wkd old, yes I got him from a BYB, I had no intention that day of bringing any puppy home, we were just out there looking and maybe just picking out a breeder ect... I saw the ad in the paper and didn't want to go because of the neighborhood, but decided what the heck, I didn't have my fill of puppy breath yet, lol, so we decided to go see them and I couldn't believe this guy was selling them at 5 weeks, I was angry to say the least, and I made sure I asked are you just taking deposits or are you letting them leave, and he was letting them leave too :mad: . Knowing the neighborhood he was in and that there is a dog fighting problem in the Det. area, I made the hard decision of taking one home with me (I don't believe in taking puppies that early, it's just not good for them) so at least I knew that one of these babies was going to have a good home and not in a fighting ring or as bait for one. I'm so happy I took him home with me that day, yeah, he is from a BYB and has some health issues because of it but I would not trade him for the world, he is the best dog i've ever had.

You know what the funny thing is... all three of my babies i've had since they were 5 weeks old.lol

Oh gosh Sue, Jake's puppy pics are simply adorable!! I can't imagine where he would be today if you didn't take him home. It's so sad that BYB's exist. Creeps......:mad:
