This is Harley, one of two Chihuahua brothwers we rescued last month. They were originally an x-mas gift for some woman from her husband, but she did'nt like them because they were the wrong size ! How stupid can a person get.They were abused, Harley obviously more so the Hercules, as no one would take them as Harley had a bitig problem. I found that out soon enough myself as he bit me the first night he was here. I had to find a way to keep Harley from biting and nipping at people, or I would not have been able to keep him. I made him a muzzle out of felt and went he nipped at someone I would put his "face case" on for a few minutes. Harley is now a good dog (for the most part) and has'nt nipped for quite awhile now.I think he finally understands that we will not hurt him, and he is much more relaxed. He's claimed his "spot" on my side of the bed under the covers, so he's officially "Family"!
