new bird

the other day my oldest step doughter yelled for me to come out into the kitchen, so i did
there sitting on the chair near the kichen door (that was open) sat a african lovebird so i quietly walked around him to shut the door so he wouldnt fly back out
he is an escaped pet so i sent one of the girls to the garege to get a cage then i let my budji and peach face out to settle the new bird down he saw them on my shoulder and flew to my shoulder but i couldnt cach him so there i was gettin some exersose chasing him aroind the houes eventually i did catch him and put him in the spare cage
we are trying to find the owner will be unable to keep him if we cant find the owner as we are renting and are not suposed to have pets we already have 3 birdss so i will reluntantly give him to the pet shop i work at i would love to keep him as he is so cute i had all the birds out last night including the new one wich was probably a bad idea becouse it took me ages to catch him again but the other birds have settled him down and he is getting uesed to us i am trying not to get attached

Most leases mean no cats or dogs. You may be giving the LB to the pet shop unneccessarily. I say keep the bird until someone complains. Hate the idea of giving the bird to a pet shop. You could list him on petfinders and maybe someone would adopt him.
