I also am confused about it. After I get in I try to type something and it says that I need to join. The second time I type something it goes through.

That is odd. You should just have to type in a name.

It works just fine, I figured out that after you get in you have to click on the chat screen two times. After that type something and it will register that you are in the chat room.

Oh. I was on an hour before. Sorry I missed you. We need to make a time schedule. Like Monday-Friday 5-9. Saturday-Sunday 5-11.

I think that's a good idea to make a schedule for more than one chat time a week. That way, if people are not able to get on that particular day, they can still try the next day.

I wonder what everyone thinks? :confused:

Here is a tip.

If you post a message on the chat room and nobody responds in a few minutes and there are other names in blue on the side click on that name. That opens a private chat room. It pops up on their computer telling them that there is someone else on.

O didn't know there was a chat room. How do we access it?

Crazee...the chat room is great fun..the only problem is that it is hard for everyone to get together on it at the same time.

I remember at the beginning, we used to set up a time frame, say Friday, between 7pm and 12 am so that it covers most of the time zones. We would try to check in then and it sometimes worked...I remember chatting with birdgirl in Texas and Birdygirl in Ohio, and Amanda in Canada, at the same time.....And may times I chatted with JSimko, too.

We should try to start that up again, it is so much more personal communicating that way.

P.S. I do miss Birdygirl (Allison) very much, she was the one who set up the Bird chat for us...what a very bright young girl she is. I wonder why the Board won't allow her to sign in...Maybe Mr. PetLover could look into it.

I talk to Allison sometimes through her personal email.

We all should make a convenient day and time every week to check into the chat room. This has worked in the past. Talking live to everyone is so much fun. How about Thurs. evenings between 7pm and midnight so we can basically cover all time zones. Weekend days are too busy for most of us.
