banning of dogs in some states

I know that some in some states some dog breeds are banned because they a vicious or someone was seriously injured. dogs are not mean because of there personality they are mean because there onwers trained them to. like pitts aren't mean at all they were just bred to fight.

I LIVE IN MA AND THEY WANT TO BAN PITTS UP HERE. THATS NOT FAIR FOR THE LOVING PITTS THAT ARE NOTHING BUT GENTLE TO BE BANNED FROM THERE LOVING OWNERS. MOST OF MY FRIENDS HAVE PITTS AND THEY ARE SO GENTLE. I DONT OWN ONE BUT I WILL FIGHT FOR THERE SURVIAL. IVE SEEN SMALL TYPE OF DOGS GRAB YOUR ANKLE. THERES NEVER NOTHING SAID.EVERY TIME I READ THE BOSTON HERALD OR WATCH THE NEWS HERE ANOTHER ATTACH OF CAUSE A PIT. I THINK IF YOU RAISE YOUR DOG NO MATTER WHAT BREED IT IS WITH MUCH LOVE THE DOG WILL NEVER KNOW MEANESS. I HAVE A GOLDEN RETRIVER. SHE GETS ALONG GREAT WITH MY FRIENDS PITTS. I AM HOPING THIS MISUNDERSTOOD BREED GET A FAIR CHANCE.
