Hello everyone,

Some of you may recall my thread last year at this time to say that my darling toy poodle was dying of congestive heard failure. She died in my arms a year ago this month and sadly, I am still feeling her loss. You never can replace these darlings, as I have been looking to find one that I can rescue. My poodle was a sweetie and adored me, as I did her. She is still so greatly missed. God bless her!

It doesnt matter how much time passes by, they can never be forgotten. Im so sorry for your loss. You're right, they can never be replaced.... but you can fill that empty space in your heart. Its so wonderful you're looking for a rescue... there's so many out there that need someone like you to love. Dont give up, that special furkid will find you ;) . Big hugs to you.

I am so sorry for your loss. This will be a hard day for you, but we are here for you if you just want to chat. You will always remember her in your heart, but as Jan said there is room for another in your heart -- not to replace but to join you and give you the comfort, loyalty and unconditional love that only these fur/feather creatures can. I hope you find another soon to share your life with.

Molly, I vividly remember your precious baby passing. My Bu passed Mothers day 05, the day before you posted about your baby. It was you that I focused on. It was your thread that I read each day when I couldn't bring myself to post about Bu because I was so torn up. Thank you for having the strength to post. Your precious baby is watching over you each and every day. Bless your heart for loving her. Your future rescue baby is going to be the luckiest baby on earth to have you. {{{{hugs}}}}

Yes, thank you for having the strength to post. My beautiful Gene died 3 years ago and for some reason the past few months I am feeling her loss more acutely than ever. I just miss her so much.

Right there with you all. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about Gunther. He was the best dog. It was a year Jan 13th of this year that he's been gone. New ones lessen the pain, but you never ever forget your best friends that are gone.

My Triton been gone for two years this Mothers Day, and the only thing that keeps me going is that I know, he will be waiting for me with all my other loved ones when its time for me to say goodbye in this world and that is what keeps me going, and then we will all be together. If I didn't believe and think that I couldnt keep going.
