does anyone know how long ghost shrimp live?? you know the ones at like petsmart the small ones.

They are usually used to feed other fish, but to be honest with you I am really not sure, I have always seen them live and grow, but they should do alright.

like stated, they are used in cleaning tanks, but some fish will eat them.
if you have a good tank, 2-3 is not uncommon in ghost shrimps. my shrimp tank is a 10 gallon with a sponge filter, and filter floss.

well I used to have like 2 or 3 but I was just curious has to how long they live because mine didnt really live that long. Plus there hard to see so maybe when i did water changes and i couldnt find them thats when they probably died but who knows. But thank you.

well, if they died you would know it, they turn a bright pink, its very possible they jumped
