Does anyone know what human foods are good for cats? My cat's a longhaired something, he's 18 pounds (but I seriously don't think he's too overwieght, his size is porportionate to his wieght, and he's very, very active), and he's about 1 year and 3 months old. I mean, I'd feed him regular cat food too, I'm just talking 'bout treats, 'cause he actually begs. So, any comments?

I sometimes give mine small peices of cooked meat or egg but I like to buy them their own cat treats too because I'd rather not encourage them to "beg" everytime they smell human food while Im trying to eat.

There are some safe foods listed on this site-

Hmm, mine are allowed cooked chicken, roast beef slivers, steak scraps (shredded small) Joey begs, but will accept nothing but pounce. Actually they're pretty good about not eating people food, they refuse almost all of it except a smigeon of ice cream very occasionally.
