Circuses

I'm wondering why so many parents take their kids to circuses.

I have a lot of problems with circuses, the main one being their treatment of wild animals. Humans have become so ignorant that they think they can just take an elephant or tiger, stick it in a cage and make it perform stupid tricks for entertainment and money.

Another problem is the clowns...I CAN'T STAND clowns, they freak me out. And they're stupid.

I just don't know why some people think circuses are fun. The first time I was taken to one I was bored the whole time, none of it was fun at all.:mad:

I know, I guess some people just don't understand. They see these animals doing all those "cute" tricks and don't realize the abuse they go through to " learn" those things.

Luckily though, circuses don't come around here very much anymore and they're kinda going out of style. I hope it stays that way, or better yet, I hope they go COMPLETELY out of style.:cool:

Hi Everyone,
I Just Got Done Reading And Catching Up On My Posts. The One About The Circus. Is Awful. I Always Went To The Circus And I Also Used To Bring My Children Whenthey Was Little And In Town. Now I Will Never Ever Go Again. The Animals Are Treated Awful. Over Worked, What A Shame. I Was Shocked It Was The Greatest Show On Earth Ringling Brothers.i Hope They Close Them Down For This Abuse.they Also Have Many Others That Are Doing The Same Thing.

In the UK most city councils won't allow animals in circuses. As for clowns they creep me out big time. In fact my bumper sticker says ''can't sleep, clowns will eat me'' :-)

Isnt that strange that alot of us hates clowns, I suppose John Gacy, the murderer didn"t help because he use to dress as a clown, well then again circuses are abusers and murderers of animals- pure slavery for the animals. Never took my children to circuses, always hated them, always hated the idea of forcing animals to perform utterly ridicilous demaning tricks- animals are so majestic- seeing magnificent elephants and big cats perform is so demeaning and cruel to them. I hate circuses and I hate clowns.
