Giving dog treats

My mother in law gave her dog a carton of Ol Roy Bacon strip treats last week. I estimate that to be 240 treats to one dog in one week. At one point I walked into the room and the dog had a box of treats all over the floor and mommy dearest was just sitting there. What can I do? Please help!!!

I would look up the nutritional value and feeding suggestions and point it out. She is being a typical grandma but the dog will become overweight and could have health problems aside from loose stool etc. Why not get some healthier treats in the house for her to give the dog? that may be a good option as well cuz she may never listen to you - get some healthy treats????

Just sit your grandma down and inform her that you only give treats to the dog as a reward for good behavior, during training etc... She should understand.
