A while back, there was a shooting in a trailer park near where I live. (not the funny part). I was listening to a police scanner and heard that the guy that did the shooting was running this way still armed. I glanced out the door and my nearest neighbor was in the yard with his wife and 2 little girls, I wanted to tell him to get the girls in the house. Now the funny part, I had already had a shower and was in my pajamas. I threw on a robe and went running over there. They were in the process of fencing in there yard for their big dog, but for the moment he was on a chain. somehow he got that chain wrapped around my ankle, he saw one of my dogs and took off running. This dog jerked me off my feet and drug me across their concrete driveway. When it was over my robe was up around my neck, sure glad I chose pajamas that night and not the usual t-shirt. It was humiliating enough the way it was. Anyway, I now have a permanent scar around my ankle because he ripped off my skin with that chain. I could not walk for a week, never did go to doctor, because if I told the truth, then my insurance would have sued his homeowners , and then the dog would have been in trouble, so I doctored it myself. This neighbor never complains about all my animals, including my pitbulls, so I could not cause him any grief. Hope this picture makes you guys laugh tonight.
