My husband and I adopted our kitten from the humane society at the end of november. He was being quarantined at a staff member's home for an "upper respiratory infection" - after he got over it, they chose to keep him until he got adopted out. WE found his picture on the humane society's website, and had to have him. His face said it all - spunk, attitude, and an amazing capacity for love... Furb (full given name as declared by his foster mom: Furbis Ufarfis Strubafer) is doing so well here at his forever home. I don't know HOW anybody could have met him (several people did) and not wanted him - he's everything a cat should be! Including huge... he is about 7 months old and weighs in at 16 pounds. Oh, he's so cute! Thank you for adopting him! We foster moms are so happy for every one that finds a home!
7 months and 16 pounds, and he looks slim and trim... Is he part tiger? :D

We think he's probably part tiger - or lion-- :D Actually, given the fact that his tail is huge and very expressive, his fur is long, an' he makes about 100 different sounds, we think he's part or maybe even all Maine Coon.... we sure do like him!

He's so beautiful!. I think he was holding out for you to come along ;) .. and Im so happy he found you!. You get major hugs for adopting !!!! :D

Furb is very very handsome! I am glad you came along and found him. He sure looks confident in himself -- maybe that is because he knows he found the right home.
