Mmmmm...that's a TOUGH one. But, since I worked pretty much with Hanoverian warmbloods, and others such as Dutch, etc., I LOVE them and can not get enough of their smarts (although yes I know all horses are capable of anything hehe)... I think I may be alittle biased lol.

Friesan or Gypsy Vanner. I love the large stocky look with such long flowing locks! :D

Oh YES! I can't believe I forgot a FRIESIAN!! lol...! They have been my favorite since the first time I saw them. I've had the honor of working with one, last winter, it was sooooo great!! They are the sweetest, gentlest, smartest horses (hehe..imo of course ;) ) and BEAUTIFUL to boot!

I love my QH's. And I like Arabians, although I've never got to ride a pure.

My favorites would be Palominos and thoroughbreds, and I'v got two palominos, 1 mare and 1 gelding, they are both 20years old, 21 years old this October and I have a part thoroughbred/Quarter horse cross mare and a big powerful thoroughbred mare.

Hi cowgirl, is he a gelding or stallion. How long have you had him for? Hope you dont mind the questions. I heard that quarter horses are really placid and quiet, just wondered. My quarterhorse/thoroughbred mare isnt. My palominos are not quarter horses they are arab thoroughbred crosses. Its great he is 24, i bet he doesn't look it mine dont look their age look pretty good actually - hope I look that good when Im old.

Chaval Canadien they have personalities like QH but have a look like miniature Friesians(which i also want, but not QUITE sure i can manage all that hair). i also like the Akal-Teke, Hanovarians, Rocky Mountain Horses, and Florida Cracker Horse(yes its a breed! they look smaller miniature Analusians.) but i tend to lean more toward indivual horses instead of breeds. each offer something different.

i have a TB, a palomino appendix QH, and an appy/qh/arab cross. for those who dont know the cross is a 26yo, champion pleasure trail horse. won his latest championship last sept. my TB is a wonderful mare. but shes broken so shes a pasture puff. and my appendix QH is basically the Jessica Simpson of the horse world. she once ran past a wide open gate 8 times before realizing that if she went through it, she could be in the yard with the others.

My favority would be the thoroughbred. I had a buckskin mare that was a thoroughbred for 12 years. Ginger was a doll. Had to have her put down about 14 years ago, she was 26. Something happened to her back end and she could not get up. Healthy otherwise. I miss her. She was the greatest.

Fresians and Andalusians are beautiful breeds, but, as far as riding, I like my gaited breeds. Right now I have a beautiful black and white Tennessee Walker but my next horse will be either a Foxtrotter or Rocky Mnt. Horse. I had a QH before I got my Walker and would not have taken anything for him, he was a great horse for anyone to ride, but I'm afraid as I get older I have found I don't like to bounce that much :D .
