Hello everyone, I am new here and I have a bit of a situation. Recently my cat at my mothers house has been having a hard time urinating. The cat spends most of her day in the litter box. My mother has monitored her going in and out, and shes in there A LOT. If she is lucky enough to goto the bathroom, it's only about as big as a dime. Right now she does not have much money and she can't afford a vet. If anyone knows a way to help our cat it would be most appreciated. Thank you very much.

Sorry to say it, but the kitty needs a vet. Urinary problems are bad in cats - they hurt, and they affect every part of their life, making them miserable. Any way you could help out with expenses? Or maybe talk to your vet about a payment plan?

I agree. Urinary blockage in cats can KILL if not treated. It will cause the ammonia in the urine to build up in the body and it WILL poison the cat. Also what kind of food is this cat on. Diet has a LOT to do with urinary crystals and kidney stones. Anything you get from the grocery store is a no-go.
