It's LUCY time again!

Just wanted to share a couple shots I took today of my favorite subjects. Grandkids and pets! LOL! Jonathan was enjoying a poptart on a warm, sunny day and Lucy didn't understand just exactly WHY he didn't want to share!

This is my panther, otherwise known as Lilo. Her eyes are just so green against that black fur! She really does look like a wild cat when she comes out of the woods and jumps across the fence!

Lucy looks so great! So well groomed and happy looking. She'd be much happier with some of that Pop Tart though LOL!

Thanks guys! My DH had told Jon to not give her any of the poptart because she didn't need sweets! This coming from the man who gives her a bite of something sweet ALL the time! LOL! He thought Jon had one of the ones that had chocolate in it. But don't be alarmed. She got treats when we got back inside!

Lilo is a beautiful cat. When my DIL got her, she was scrawny, full of fleas, and scared stiff. It took her about 2 days of living with them and she was like lightning. Literally flying through the air!! My DIL would bathe her often and she was good about not fighting the bath. She has always been a loving cat and will come, get up on your lap and take her paws and put them on both sides of your face and just stare at you. It's like a person caressing the face of a child. Her downfall with my DIL was the fact that she wouldn't stay off the countertops and the garbage pail was her favorite toy box, so she went outside. That's when she moved in with me and when they got their house finished and moved, they left her with me because we had gotten attached to each other. She's an inside/outside cat here. Mostly inside, though when it's warm outside and pretty, she prefers to sleep on the railing of the deck and to do her potty outside. That part I like too! I hid my garbage can and keep nothing on the countertop she can get into so we get along pretty good.

I have some pictures of Lilo riding in my granddaughters doll stroller that are priceless. I'll have to try to find those and get them on here!

Very pretty!!! Lucy is just wonderful and shiney. Lilo is too. What great color like an aquamarine. You know, that is what I call good compromise. Not everyone would go so far as to keep counters free and trash can away. You are a great cat mom. and dog mom too.
