how often do i need to give my beagle/lab mix 13 wk old puppy a bath?

bathing too often will result in worse conditions usually. I'd say bathe only when dirty, other than that every few weeks.

My dogs generally get a bath once a month, sometimes less often sometimes more often depending on how dirty they are and if I'm going to have them in the house at all. It mostly just depends on how dirty they get and if they start smelling, then again my dogs are hardly ever allowed in the house (when I am at home, here at college they are always outside in the kennel I board them at).

I do not bathe my dogs unless a dire emergency arose. Bullwinkle has had one bath in 7 years and that was after he killed a skunk (definte bath emergency!). I use bath wipes and they work just great. Of course Bullwinkle grooms himself like a cat and I notice that Zoe does the same thing. They cannot stand being dirty. Rockie is another story. However, I have never felt the need to bathe her outside of the bath wipes. Of course my dogs are mostly inside dogs and do not get extremely dirty.

Oh and I should add that my vet always says when I bring my dogs in that they are exceptionally clean and well groomed. Especially their teeth and ears! Guess what...I don't brush their teeth either Shhhhhh. Although If I was a good mom I would. I know how beneficial it is but I have never gotten into the mode. I am a fanatic on ear cleaning though. Absolutely!

I agree with the others. Only bath your dog if absolutely necessary. Otherwise you can destroy all the natural oils in their fur and skin. If you do have to, use a natural shampoo. There's one made by Orange-A-Peel.
good i'm glad i don't need to bathe her very often or maybe not at all. She is inside most of the time also and doesn't get too dirty.
my dog penny has only had one bath and thats when she investigated a ces pitt on a caravan site phooo she was running toward me i was running the other way lol
