My green cheek and my maccaw have their own sense of humor. When something funny happens (especially if it involves a little bit of pain) they laugh at it. An example of this is one time I tripped over my own feet and fell right on my butt, when the green cheek saw this he laughed so hard that he fell off his perch. When I laughed at him for falling he got angry and hissed at me. The next time I took him out of his cage (about ten minutes after this happened) he bit me very hard and chuckled. I think he was getting revenge for me laughing at him. My question is do anybody elses birds have a sense of humor? And if so do they know if you are laughing at something they did?

No, none of my birds including my green-cheek have shown humor like that- they're too sweet to laugh at me when I get hurt! (just kidding...) :) When your green-cheek laughs, is it an imitation of your laughter or I guess what I'm wondering is, what does it sound like?

Einstein definately has his own laugh. It can only be described as an evil laugh, like what you would her in a movie with a witch.

None of my birds laugh....I wish they did.
Sounds like your birds are human, they must really be great to live with.

Sophie laughs like a computer game character. The evil spiders in Jumpstart 4th grade. Now i'm not in 4th grade but it is a fun game so Sophie picked it up.
