Just look at this face hahahaha. She was spayed today and had to have a toe declawed because it was either broken and healed wrong, or it was deformed at birth. The claw was permanently pointing down on top of her paw, so the vet recommended removing it to prevent complications down the road. We believe London was dropped off and abandoned near our property about 4 months ago and she decided to take up residence here ... so stay she will. ;)

She does look as if she is grimacing there Jan. Poor little thing is probably wondering what in the heck happened. It looks like she is still bleeding a bit in the paw area -- how long is that expected to continue? She will be back to her old self soon and then free to roam more.

Yay for you RachelLynn!!. Give your babies hugs.
Diane.. thats red bandages on her paw ;) . When I went to pick her up I asked them how long the bandage had to stay on her, the girl at the front desk was surprised she hadn't taken it off yet.. most rip them off right away I guess... I've never declawed before and wouldn't have now if it wasn't for the problem she had. The girl went and asked the vet and she said for me take the bandage off tomorrow if London doesnt do it first. We'll keep her crated for a few days, then let her roam the house. She wont go outside for a few weeks.
