Never easy

I lost a good friend today. My guinea pig May passed away, we think from cancer. She had been fine but developed some tumors and before we had a chance to take her to the doctor she was gone.

You just can never prepare yourself for these things. But she was a good pig and will always have a special place in our hearts.

Thanks everyone. We had May for about 3 years, she was just a baby when we got her. She was a really good pig. A little shy but once you held her she would make her rattling sound.

I'm so so sorry for your loss Peteybird :( .. and Im sorry it took me so long to reply. I still have a hard time coming to this section because of losing two of my senior babies. Its so hard to let them go. Big hugs to you ... rest in peace little one.
