Well if I remember right bunnies should be about 5 or 6 weeks old. Its hard to tell if they are still nursing since momma bunnys usually only feed once or twice a day and you don't always see it. Maybe to an internet search to be sure. I used to know but I'm not for sure any more.

What i've learned in learning about them b/c my hubby really wants one is that they should be about 8 weeks old when they go to new homes, but they should be separated by sex by about 5 1/2 or 6 weeks, otherwise you'll have MORE bunnies to rehome...

But most places do put males and felmales a part cause of that.My son has Honey and I have Smokie up stairs with me out all the put him up just when I am out of house or sleeping. He is very smart and fellows me all the time.I have turtle and tortoise for 4yrs now and want another pet so when I when looking I fell in love with Smokie at first look.I have had birds befor to but I think I did every right when I got him.If you get one at first you will have to clean up a lot of poo but after first wk Smokie was going in his box.But they do need a lot of love. They will my you lol all the time.
