Chcken Soup for the dog lover's soul?

I have a question about Chicken Soup I give my kittens this brand but they have dog food too. I am dog sitting my baby boy (codee, family dog) and I was wondering if it is a good idea to get it for him. I am going to see how he likes it and if it is a hit w/ him I'm going to tell my parents to get it, but first I wanna know if it is good for him and if you use it what improvements did you see? I'm also open to any suggestions for other brands/formulas.

It's good but if you just decide one day to feed it to him you're going to upset his stomach. You have to switch him over to it gradually, about 2-3 weeks time.

Chicken Soup is great! My dog was on it but then she was allergic to eaither the dairy or the egg so now she is on California Natural. You should notice a healthier coat and other than that I am not sure but I do know it is a good food.

Yeah I just want him to get off Pedigree it's horrible for him it doesn't even have any real meat parts in it and even the pieces are few so basically their feeding him heart attack in a can. if I was to prepare him actual food what would be the best foods to buy for him? and would that be safe to just stop the pedigree and start preparing him food? My dogs love the Chicken Soup and the improvement in their coats and skin is amazing. Noel's dander is virtually non-existent, whereas before I used to bathe her with special tar shampoo. Oscar's shedding is down to a bare minimum (he's a husky mix so there is a lot of shedding) and I have my kitten on it and his fur is so soft and shiny and as far as I can tell, he doesn't really shed at all.

Not to mention the other upside- less poop! Since it isn't chocked full of fillers, there is waaaaaay less poo to clean up!
