Commandress Cody
March 23, 1984 – September 4, 2000
If I had to define Cody by one word it would be “sweet”, but she was more than that. She was not the smartest dog I’ve ever had but she had a quality about her that drew people in. I never saw her get angry or lose her patience. Cody never whined, cried, or even barked all that much. She was the most mellow, laid-back dog I have ever had the pleasure of sharing my life with. She was a very obedient dog. I could never raise my voice around her or she would get very upset. Always low tones with Cody girl HaHa! Yet she had an aura about herself that would show through that maybe she was not all that submissive and had a mind of her own. This is my favorite picture of her. It was taken when she was about 6 years old. I was telling her to “Stay” and she was giving me “The Look”. Her patience and sweetness made her a favorite of all the neighborhood kids. I miss her so.
