Hi Teri,
As the time is getting closer for your move I wanted to wish you good luck and let you know that I am still thinking of you and yours as you head on your big adventure.
Will you have access to an internet service there? If so, how long do you think it will be before you are back on line and exactly what date will you be turning off your present one? Just wanted to know so that we would not worry if we do not hear from you during this period.
BTW did you ever make it to your friend's wedding back in October?

You guys are so cute, thank you so much for all your support, when i first came to this site i never imagined i would make such good friends!!! i am actually using my employer's aol account thru my telephone line.....so i get the internet free!!! so as soon as i hook up my phone in arizona (nov. 24th) i will be signed on, unless something happens and i don't get to do the "free" anymore then i will have to get hooked up. the week of th 24th i will be taking to unpack so i won't actually start working until dec. 1st. this is a huge move for me so i wanted to take the time to do it.......plus my cookie monster (b & g) is throwing such a fit with all the boxes around that she is biting me! not fun, i am going to get a facial today and i have a hole in my face from her biting me last nite!! my fault for not watching and being aware of her body language. anyway i have to get back to work, so thanks again!!

Gee, I guess from the fids point of view they just see chaos with all the boxes and don't know or understand what is happening to their world as they know it. I am sure it is hard on them - just as it is on you. Good Luck and take care of that nip on your face.
Will they be having a Thanksgiving Dinner at the Oasis Sanctuary?
i don't know about the thanksgiving dinner, after being in the retail industry (waitress, grocery store) for years.........the holidays aren't that spectacular to me, it will take me awhile i guess to get back into them but for now i am happy just to get there and have the time to unpack all my stuff!! Yes and it is very true for the fids point of view, all they can go by is what your emotions are telling them and they like order and right now things are not in order........he he.

I'm so happy and excited for you Teri. Good luck with the move and I hope your fids won't mind the change too much. How are you moving them, by the way?
i have travel cages for the front seat of the Penske rental truck......i'm taking 4 birds that way!!!

BTW if any get car sick, offer them some cut up fruit and some slivers of fresh ginger. It is supposed to take the sickness away.
