diabetic cat with vomiting

our cat, gizzy (12), has diabetes and has been on insulin for several years now. he recently (last night) started vomiting. he has an appetite, even tho i haven't given him anything since breakfast this morning. he sits like usual meowing for food, but i thought it might help to not feed him while his stomach is upset. he is not acting unusual at all, except for the intermitent vomiting. do cats get "upset stomachs" or is it usually something serious? he's vomited before, but usually it's once or twice and done. this is a bit more.

are there any home remedies for vomiting in cats that i can use that might help, otherwise he's off to the vet monday a.m.?
