A Good Friend

I know this is an animal forum, but I would like to let everyone know about my friend Eric.

He was 24 years old. He died December 30, 2005 as a result of a car accident. He slid on some black ice and hit 2 trees on December 22. The extent of his injuries demanded that he be put into a chemically induced coma. His body just gave up.

He was my brother's best friend since the 4th grade. And because my brother and I are twins, I grew up with Eric as well. My brother and I lost touch with him in high school and I hadn't seen him in years. He showed up at a bar I frequent about a year ago and I got him and my brother hanging out again. I've never seen two happier people.

We buried Eric yesterday, and it was one of the saddest things I have ever had to go through. He was such a good kid and I will miss him dearly. It makes you think. I am only 23, I couldn't imagine...

So everyone please give Eric a prayer that he's resting in peace. Thanks for letting me get this out...

I'm so so sorry for your loss Liz :( . Its very hard for me to visit this section lately, I had no idea it was a childhood friend you lost. God must've wanted him home. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh My GOD you have my deepest sympathy honey. I feel so badly about this for you honey. Know that he is in a better place now than we are might help heal wounds, not sure But I trust in GOD to help me get through tough times and I have many being over 67 years old, I have been there, done that and times come that I wonder how I will deal with it and drop to my knees and pray to my GOD to help me get through this tought situation and somehow it works as GOD is always with us and we must remember he does guard us from harm, never gives us more than we can bare, I know at times I often ask how can u do this to be I cannot bare anymore but some how I do and u will also, the LORD is always with us and we have angels with us always watching and hovering over us watching so GoD love your friend and you and may you rest and rely on the Lord and trust and believe and know that all things are taken care of for us, we just need to trust fully and wait and see honey if u need to talk I am here best I can be and God Bless Your Heart........
