Hey everyone...thank you Jenny and Amanda for your advice. It really helped. Here's a quick update on what I'll do. Gracie has a vet trip coming up soon, because her last one was like 7 months ago so I'll ask about these but I think I am going to just order some Frontline or Advantage off Petco or Petmeds and see how this goes...and with Gracie's food problem...I think I'll just wait and ask the vet because I'm too afraid I'll make her condition worse if I increase or decrease her food amounts at this point. I'll post the results the Frontline or Advantage gives.

Hi Sarah,
I use Frontline for my dogs and cats...it works.. I have NO flea's. When ordering, be sure to get the weight appropriate dose for Gracie. We also have a professional pest control regularly spray our property. If you have a neighbor that is flea infested, you will never get rid of your flea's even with Frontline or Advantage.
As for the weight problem... young dogs are chubby sometimes because they all of the sudden shoot up into adults, kinda like human kids... they get wider, then taller, then wider, then taller.. well.. you get the picture hehe... Im thinkin that Gracie may have been chubby.. then had a growth spurt to even out the weight... and because you had her on a diet, she is now too thin. Then again... there could be something medically wrong. Im glad you're taking her to the vet, that would be the safest way to go.
