View Full Version : The opinions I have

Okay, I feel I need to say this just for the sake of getting it off my chest, so here are my opinions on a few different things. If you don't agree, fine, but don't go insulting me because you feel differently. If you have a comment, a non-insulting comment, go right ahead, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Okay (takes a deep breath)...
Hunting - when it comes to hunting, I don't hunt myself but I think it's fine if other people want to do it. What bothers me is when they kill just for the rack and not to use the entire body, but if they're going to use all of what they kill I really don't have a problem with it.
Eating meat - humans are omnivores. That's the way it is. We were born to eat both meat and plants and I go by that. I don't even like veggies that much, I'm almost 100% carnivorous. I still eat the veggies, you know (we all need our greens:D ). I don't have a problem with those who want to stuff theirselves with plants, that's fine with me, just don't insult others for liking meat.
Euthanasia - I think it's totally humane. Yes, it is killing an animal, but if the animal is suffering I'm sure it would WANT to be killed. But only if the animal is suffering. The animal dies a painless, peaceful death and passes onto the rainbow bridge.
Now...what are your thoughts on these three things?

OK Fuzzykitten...most of the threads you start have already been hashed out and 9/10 times end up ugly...yes everyone is allowed a opinion but sometimes when people state their opinion it turns into a personal attack...I think rather then getting caught up in the emotions of it all stick to the thread and never attack anyone ...if you stick to the facts rather then make accusations against people you cant go wrong...this is in no way directly only at you as I believe we are all guilty of the same thing...we read more into the question then was intended...example hunting has ben hashed out many times and most times the thread is closed as people get personal...so I think if you want peoples ideas on these questions go back and read them I know time consuming but saves a lot of upset...which I for one would prefer that then have things said when people are angry...take care Donna

Okay whatever, I'm getting sick of this forum. I don't see eye to eye with ppl here, I'm better off other places. I specifically asked that no one make fun of my opinions or make rude comments, because they are my OPINIONS, and I shouldn't be bashed for my opinions.
Some ppl here are absolutely obsessed with stopping animal cruelty. To a point, I think that's wonderful, because I am against intentional cruelty to animals, I think it's sick. But some people in the world do more harm than good trying to help a rooster. The truth is, it's IMPOSSIBLE to exist without contributing to hurting an animal. If you've ever taken medicine, if you live in a house, if you drive a car...these are all things that at one point contributed to hurting and/or killing an animal. Animals are important, yes, but we can't obsess over every little thing that might harm them.
So...goodbye everyone, sorry I ever came here:(

OK fussy kitten, not sure how you could have taken offense to what I posted...as I made it quite clear to you that I wasnt sayingit was only you....my suggestion was just take a few minutes and preview other topics that have covered your questions and you will see that they are questions that raise a lot of passionate in people...if after reading the threads and you feel that the answers arnt there thenpost your question...all I suggest is that one does a little research before posting a new thread....please explain how you feel that we have made fun of you...but at the end of the day the decision is yours and if you decide to leave good luck and have agreat new year...Donna
